What is a professional lighting complex made of?
We approach light as a single controlled system.
- Lighting devices: Intelligent "heads" for dynamics, statics (Par) for filling, special effects (smoke, fog).
- Controls and Dimmers: Lighting consoles (remotes), switches, and dimmer units. They distribute power and control each fixture.
- Scene mechanics: Aluminum trusses, soffits, winches, and fly-bar hoists. Reliable suspension is the foundation of safety.
- Switching: Power and signal (DMX) lines, splitters for signal amplification.
3D visualization: see the show before editing begins
No on-site experiments. Before purchasing equipment, we create a 3D model of your stage or building using software packages. Capture or Dialux.
What does this give to the customer:
- Image guarantee: You can see on the render how the rays will look in the smoke, whether there is enough fill and whether there are any «blind spots».
- Illumination calculation: We calculate the lux level on stage or on the artist's face to comply with building codes and regulations or TV filming requirements.
- Budget savings: Virtual arrangement of devices allows you to remove unnecessary equipment at the design stage.
Working documentation and wiring diagrams
We prepare a complete package of documents for electricians and installers:
- Weighing diagram: The exact coordinates of each spotlight on the truss, indicating the DMX address.
- Electrical project: Calculation of phase loads, cable cross-sections and panel board diagram (to avoid tripping fuses during the show).
- Patch list: Addressing table of devices for the lighting console programmer.
Installation, adjustment and artistic registration
Hanging spotlights is a 30% job. The main thing is to get them working in sync.
- Rigging (Suspension): Installation of truss structures and devices at height using safety cables.
- Focusing: Precise aiming of static spotlights to the desired points on the stage.
- Show programming: We program ready-made lighting scenes (presets) into the console: «Host’s Entry», «Disco», «Slow Dance».
- Education: We teach your lighting designer to work with the new console.
Technical support and repair of lighting equipment
Stage lighting is complex electromechanical equipment. The rotating "heads" draw in dust and liquid from fog machines, damaging the optics and fans.
We do not abandon the object after delivery:
- Adjustment: Over time, the "static" may become disturbed. We'll return the beams to their original focal points.
- Scheduled maintenance: Cleaning lenses, lubricating Pan/Tilt mechanisms, replacing lamps according to the hour meter.
- Urgent repairs: If the device breaks down before a concert, our engineers will perform component repairs to the boards or replace the ignition unit.
