Colored spots on the image are a typical sign of polarizer or LCD panel burnout due to overheating. We replace damaged optical components and always eliminate the underlying cause: we clean the cooling system and replace thermal interfaces, otherwise the defect will return.
Most often, this is overheating due to dust-clogged filters and radiators, or a faulty ballast (lamp igniter module). Less commonly, it's a worn-out lamp or faulty temperature sensors. We diagnose the cause on our bench and repair ballasts and power supplies at the component level.
The price depends on the module type: an original lamp unit is more expensive, while a high-quality compatible bulb that can be reinstalled into your module is significantly cheaper. After replacement, we reset the lamp hour meter and check color convergence. The exact price will be determined based on the projector model.
These are dead pixels on the DMD chip—the micromirror element of a DLP projector—that appear as white or black dots on the image. The defect is fixed by replacing the DMD chip. We perform this work in a dust-free room to avoid introducing dust onto the matrix during assembly.
For smoke machine and vape sites, every 3-4 months. Grease and glycerin deposits on the optics and filters, reducing brightness and causing overheating. In severe cases, they can completely destroy the optical unit. Regular cleaning is significantly cheaper than replacing the optics.
