Full cycle: from acoustic calculations to facility delivery

1

Zoning of the object

Dividing the space into zones with different volume levels and content.

2

Design

Calculating the placement of ceiling or wall speakers for uniform coverage.

3

Equipment supply

A selection of 100V PA amplifiers and speakers from trusted brands.

4

Neat installation

Concealed cable routing and speaker installation without disturbing the interior design.

5

Integration with SOUE

Setting up a priority channel to automatically mute music during a fire alarm.

6

Service support

Regular system performance testing and remote staff consultation.

Our advantages

Direct equipment supply, strict adherence to specifications, and in-house commissioning.

Uniform coverage

No loud speakers overhead or dead zones. The music sounds soft and uniform throughout the entire room.

Engineering approach

We work strictly according to specifications and regulations. All systems undergo mandatory testing before delivery.

Expertise in repairs

Having our own repair facility allows us to provide an extended warranty on installation.

Calculate the sound of an object

Background sound systems: what do they consist of?

Technical solution for background sound (Public Address) uses 100-volt transmission lines. This allows hundreds of speakers to be connected to a single amplifier and the signal to be transmitted over long distances without loss of quality, something that is impossible with home or concert stereo systems.

A qualified engineer will help you select a configuration that takes all parameters into account. Self-selection without experience often leads to uneven sound ("loud here, inaudible there") and equipment failure.

Components of background sound systems

To build a high-quality background sound system, the complex is broken down into system components:

  • Loudspeakers
  • Gain
  • Acoustic processors
  • Signal sources
  • Microphones
  • Signal switching

Loudspeakers

When selecting speakers for background sound systems, the client's budget and the specific room characteristics are considered. However, basic PA speaker types can be categorized as follows:

Recessed ceiling speaker

The most popular option for suspended ceilings is Armstrong or plasterboard. They are unnoticeable in the interior and provide a uniform coverage from top to bottom.

Wall-mounted column-type loudspeaker

They are used in restaurants, stores with open ceilings (loft style), or outdoors. They have a bracket for adjusting the angle.

Wall-mounted loudspeaker

Narrow vertical systems for difficult acoustic conditions (temples, train stations), where reverberation needs to be cut through.

Horn loudspeaker

Horn systems for open spaces, stadiums, parking lots, and large warehouses. They offer long range and speech intelligibility.

Each speaker presented above has its own advantages and disadvantages and requires a careful and precise design approach. Furthermore, speakers have a number of other parameters, such as power handling, frequency response, dispersion, moisture protection, low impedance, and 100V line resistance.

Gain

Power amplifiers are selected with a reserve of 20-30% from the total power of all speakers. For complex installations (e.g., fitness centers: locker rooms, cardio areas, swimming pools), multi-zone mixer amplifiers. This allows you to adjust the volume and select music separately for each zone.

Acoustic processing

Acoustic processors are essential for adjusting the amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics. Simply put, speech intelligibility is improved and artifacts are removed, making the system sound "expensive," or more accurately, high-quality.

Signal sources

We call the music player the signal source. In fact, a lot depends on it, as does the content being played. It's comparable to watching a 480p video on a 4K display—the results are clearly visible. That's why our specialists use professional players and provide recommendations on the technical requirements for music content.

Microphones

Paging microphone consoles are often integrated into background sound systems. This is especially true for shopping centers and train stations. Digital protocols (Dante) or analog lines with priority are used (the music is automatically muted when an announcement is made).

Switching

I would also like to share some important information regarding the cable used for background sound systems:

  • Cable products must comply with fire safety regulations for the premises used.
  • The installation method must be determined based on the Electrical Installation Code (PUE) and the room classification.
  • A poor-quality cable can introduce interference into the audio path, and the digital signal may simply disappear.

To avoid mistakes in this engineering matter and to obtain a high-quality product, we strongly recommend contacting our company.

A transparent workflow: from application to sound

We've eliminated unnecessary bureaucracy. The process is structured in four clear steps:

Step 1 – Audit and technical specifications (TS)

You submit a request. The engineer clarifies the room parameters: area, ceiling height, noise level.

  • Advice: If you have a design project or a floor plan (in DWG/PDF format), please send it immediately. This will double the cost estimate and improve the accuracy of the acoustics design.

Step 2 – Acoustic calculation and 3 estimate options

We don't "guess" how many speakers you need. We calculate the sound field coverage. You receive a Commercial Proposal (CP) in three price segments: Budget, Optimal, and Premium.

Step 3 – Delivery and installation

We purchase equipment directly from distributors. Our installation team will travel to your site at the agreed time (optional). night editing, (So as not to disturb your customers). We lay cable routes in a concealed manner.

Step 4 – Commissioning and Training

«We'll bring the system to life. We'll adjust equalizers so music sounds smooth and doesn't overwhelm employees. We'll set volume limiters. We'll train your administrator to manage zones and content.

Final result:

What you get is not just «speakers in the ceiling,» but a calibrated audio marketing tool.
